The holidays are always a special time to reflect on what we are thankful and grateful for in our lives. Since connection and authenticity mean so much to us, we wanted to share some of our things with you.
What Dena is grateful for:
The special people in my life
The awesome, awesome clients I have worked with so far
A healthy, supportive workplace and coworkers
A body that does most of the things really well
My therapist
Music, books, dogs and warm beverages
What Tawney is grateful for:
The most mellow, well-behaved, versatile dog anyone could ask for
Silly chicky babies that come running for treats
A workplace and leadership that is supportive and mentoring in personal and professional endeavors
Clients that I get to encourage and support on their paths
My family - those who I get to be a girlfriend, auntie, sister, friend, and daughter to
The past year of rooting a little more into the things I’m passionate about in the world - healing/growth and encouraging others to do so, developing skills in body and birth work, living a increasingly sustainable lifestyle
My body, mind, and soul for carrying me through all stages of life
What Jennifer is grateful for:
I have so many people and so much I am grateful for. Though it is a list that could go on and on, here are just a few:
God. His love is endless and His blessings in my life are countless.
My family. They are always there for me supporting me with love and encouragement through the good times and the most difficult times. Many do not have that support in their lives and I am truly grateful I do.
My new baby granddaughter, Aria. The most beautiful and precious gift ever!
My job and co-workers. Returning to the workforce after many years, I am so grateful to have a job with wonderful co-workers and where helping people to improve in living their best life is a priority and also learning ways to improve my own self-care too.
My Furbabies, Jax and Carly Sue! My kids are all grown and out of the house but these cats are like having two toddlers I love them dearly though and wouldn’t trade them for anything!
What Paula is grateful for:
My family, biological and otherwise. Ohana means family and it's the name of our business for a reason. Not everyone has the family they would like to have. So, when I started Ohana, I envisioned creating an environment that people could feel at home in. Where our clients could feel safe and heard without judgement. Where they could let their protective guards down and just exist for a while. For them to have hope for healing and support during that process. Thank you for helping make that dream a reality.
My husband ~ who is the reason why I'm on the range. The man who gave me everything I didn't know I wanted (and all the things I did want too).
Our amazing clients and community. When I first moved here, I was told I would fail because "this area doesn't accept outsiders very well". Thanks to you those nay-sayers were wrong. Ohana would not be here without each and every one of you. I appreciate you more than you know.
The little zoo we're creating in our house. Adding two kittens to our fur-family of two dogs has exponentially increased the joy in our house. Even if it's a bit chaotic at times :)
All of the things that have made me who I am today. The good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. Each event has presented endless opportunities for growth and awarenesss.
And last, but certainly not least, the beautiful ladies that I have the honor of sharing a workplace with. There's is so much more I could say about them ~ but that'll be another email ;)
