Reflection and Redirection

To truly know where you're going it's a good idea to see where you've come from.

With 2022 coming to a close, it's natural for us to look forward to a "reset" of sorts. We set intentions for the next year. We give ourselves goals to work towards. And often times, return to ourselves after a busy holiday season taking care of others. Before we look ahead, it's a good idea to look back. We can do that by taking a few minutes to reflect on the top 10 things we can be grateful for that happened in 2022.

You can do that now or come back to it after reading this ;)

My top 10 things to be grateful for this year: - not in order of importance

  1. I am grateful we added another Rockstar massage therapist to our Ohana with Heather!

  2. I am grateful to have gained amazing admin support with Angela!

  3. I am grateful to have been able to deepen my JBMFR skillset by taking Therapy for the Therapist, Fascial Cranium, Subtle Energy, and an Advanced Therapist retreat.

  4. I am so grateful to have been able to serve such amazing clients for another year!

  5. I am so grateful to have celebrated 10 years of offering therapeutic massage on the Iron Range!

  6. I am grateful to be able to level up Ohana School of Massage's Massage Therapist Training Program for our 2023/24 cohort :)

  7. I am grateful to have made my own growth and transformation a priority.

  8. I am grateful to have built in more family time into my schedule.

  9. I am grateful that we graduated 4 amazing massage therapists to serve the Northland.

  10. I am grateful that I set boundaries with my work schedule and said no to things that weren't in alignment with my highest good.

A look at the year ahead.

In many ways, 2023 will look similar to years past:

  • We will continue to serve our clients at the highest level possible.

  • We will challenge ourselves to learn and grow.

  • We will share knowledge and self care tips to empower you to be your best asset on your healing journey.

What will look a little different:

  • We are creating massage packages to help you feel better, quicker.

  • We are adding 50 hours to our massage therapist training program at Ohana School of Massage. Offering the next generation of massage therapists 675 hours of training. And more fun changes :)

  • We will be offering regular self care classes/presentations, giving you more tools to use at home.

  • We will be converting many of our self care resources from Facebook to a more neutral platform

  • and more!

Thank you for everything in 2022! We look forward to another year of empowerment, growth, and healing in 2023
