Reiki Available at Ohana Starting September!!!

Hello everyone and thank you Paula for including me in your newsletter! So many wonderful things are happening at Ohana Therapeutic Massage and I'm so honored to be apart of it! 

It's a true pleasure to get to introduce myself to you and I hope to receive the pleasure to get to know YOU in the near future! My name is Sarah Erickson and I am a Reiki Master Practitioner in the Mikao Usui lineage. I am a licensed dental assistant and have an Associate of Science Degree in Human Services. I hold a deep passion for serving others while providing soul nourishing care for each of my patients/clients. Outside of business activities you can find me with my nose in a book most of the time, playing with my poodle and goldendoodle, spending time with my family, laughing a lot, adding to my sea glass collection from the shores of Lake Superior, practicing Qigong, and being outside enjoying nature! 

You will find me practicing Reiki under my business name Ataraxy & Wellness. Ataraxy meaning a state of serene calmness.  Wellness meaning a state of good health. Both of my wishes for you on your journey called life! 

I am honored to be bringing Reiki to Ohana Therapeutic Massage starting on Wednesday, September 10 (keep reading for times, all dates available in September AND a special incentive for your Reiki session during the first month that I am open!) 

Reiki was introduced to me in 2021 at Ohana so I find it very meaningful that I get to share Reiki with you in the space where Reiki and I were introduced. What a beautiful circle! 

Reiki means universal life force energy. As a Reiki Practitioner, I am a conduit for this energy which the energy knows where it needs to flow for your highest good.

A Reiki session looks similar to a massage session, fully clothed, you will lay on a massage table, light music will be playing, a sheet and light blanket will be provided if needed, and your session will begin. Light touch, the laying of my hands on your body, can be provided during your session or my hands can hover over your body while Reiki flows through me to you. This a personal preference and will be discussed before each session begins. As a new client, paperwork will need to be filled out prior to your session. 

The benefits of Reiki can include; the strengthening of your immune system, promotion of pain relief, improving your quality of sleep, ease of muscle tension, the energizing and balancing of your body, relief of stress and anxiety, facilitator of self healing, and deep relaxation. 

Each Reiki session will be sixty minutes. Fifty-five minutes of Reiki with five minutes of discussion before and/or after your session. Each session is unique! Reiki knows where it needs to flow! Please come to your session  hydrated and in comfortable clothing.  

As a grand opening celebration, intertwined with much gratitude for choosing me as your Reiki Pracitioner, in September only, each Reiki session will  be $55.00! 

As of the present moment, your Reiki session can be scheduled by calling or texting me at 218-393-2177 or sending me an email at ataraxyandwellness@aol.com. Please leave a voicemail if calling. I will return your text/call/email with a phone call prior to scheduling your appointment. All appointment times are first come first serve. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please give me notice via text or phone call 24 hours prior to your appointment. An online scheduling system will be available in the near future!
