Paula first took a Qigong workshop about 6 years ago. While she took it to help her abilities as a massage therapist, it has been so beneficial for body awareness and energy flow. In fact, often times Qigong is taught to the elderly and frail since it is so beneficial for those who have limited mobility/activity. She's talked about it with clients for years now, and is excited to share a workshop opportunity for those interested in learning more.

Standing is one of the core preliminary practices traditionally taught before any of the movement practices. It has been used to help one learn to feel the movement of Qi/energy in the body, clear blockages, and strengthen the bodies. This can also help clear mental/emotional patterns that may be in the blockages as well.
We will be learning the basic neutral standing posture, the alignments that allow your physical body to relax and energy to flow, and how to feel the downward flow of Qi/energy to identify blockages and melt/dissolve/clear them.
Who can benefit? Anyone who wants to feel more present, centered, or clear. Anyone who wants a better ability to feel Qi flow in their body. Anyone who wants a simple practice that can deliver improvements to their well being.
This workshop will be open to anyone of any ability or experience. Standing is optimal, but this practice can be done seated or lying down.
This class will be hybrid, please let me know if you plan to attend in person, otherwise a Zoom link will be sent out to all who register!
